BondOn Legal
Terms and Conditions
These Terms govern the BondOn customer app, public website, community invitation and matrimony-profile links, chat, admin and moderation interactions, and connected services operated by Sanghance.
1. Acceptance and operator
BondOn is operated by Sanghance ("Sanghance", "BondOn", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating or using an account, requesting or joining a community, issuing or accepting an invite, using a public link, submitting or viewing content, or otherwise accessing BondOn (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Safety Standards, and any feature-specific notice presented to you. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you provide information or act for a family member, represented person, community, organisation, or another user, you confirm that you have authority to do so and that they have received any notice and given any permission required by law.
2. What BondOn provides
BondOn is a community and matrimony technology platform. The current product is configured for supported Hindu communities and Hindu matrimony. Depending on eligibility, configuration, device, region, and release, features may include phone sign-in, community discovery, open joins, access requests, invitations, religion and community chats, direct chat, reactions, replies, polls, media and file sharing, notifications, user and matrimony profiles, photo-on-request controls, profile claiming, and controlled public matrimony-profile links.
BondOn is not a marriage bureau, employment or education verifier, credit service, financial adviser, emergency service, law-enforcement service, or comprehensive background-check provider. We provide the technical means for eligible users to communicate and discover profiles; users remain responsible for their decisions and interactions.
3. Adult eligibility and legal capacity
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement. BondOn is not for minors. You must not create an account or matrimony profile for a minor, invite a minor to use the Service, or misstate age or date of birth. We may ask for information needed to assess eligibility and may remove or restrict an account or profile if we reasonably believe this requirement is not met.
4. Accounts, phone verification, and security
- Customer access is phone-first and uses Firebase mobile-number and OTP verification. Compatible legacy records may contain verified email information. Admin web access may use email and password and also requires an authorised Firebase admin claim.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information. Keep your mobile number, device, OTPs, sessions, and any admin credentials secure. An OTP is confidential and must never be shared with a person claiming to be BondOn support.
- Do not create an account for another person, impersonate someone, transfer an account, sell access, evade a restriction, or attempt to obtain admin privileges without authorisation.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect account compromise, lost control of a registered mobile number, unauthorised profile claiming, or misuse of an invite or profile link.
Phone verification confirms control of a number at the relevant time; it does not prove identity, age, community membership, matrimonial facts, or good character. A BondOn verification mark or admin action is not a guarantee of every statement made by a user.
5. Community membership and access
Communities can use different access settings. Some may permit an eligible direct join; others require a targeted invite, a request, verification, or approval. You must select truthfully and may belong only where eligible under the current product and community rules. BondOn may prevent duplicate membership, decline a conflicting join, or require you to leave one community before another can be joined.
Access requests may be reviewed by authorised admins using your profile, verified contact, selected religion and community, optional note, and request history. Approval is discretionary within applicable law and platform policy. You may leave a community, but leaving does not erase messages, reports, audits, invite history, or information that must remain for other users, safety, or legal reasons.
6. Invitations and other people's contact details
- Issue an invite only to a person you know, who is eligible for the selected community, and whom you have a proper basis to contact. If you use the address-book picker, select only phone numbers you are permitted to use for this purpose.
- Do not upload address books in bulk, harvest contacts, invite strangers, send repeated unwanted nudges, use invitations for marketing, or attempt to identify the target of an invitation that was not intended for you.
- Invitation delivery through WhatsApp, SMS, compatible legacy email, or another external service is also governed by that provider and may incur normal carrier or data charges.
- Invite codes and links are limited credentials. Do not publish a targeted invite or share it in a way that bypasses intended mobile verification or community eligibility.
BondOn may skip ineligible, duplicate, already joined, already invited, or pending recipients. Abuse reports linked to an invite can create invite strikes and can lead to invite suspension. Admins may revoke an invite, clear or apply strikes, or restrict invite access to protect the community.
7. Community and direct chat
You are responsible for messages, replies, reactions, poll activity, links, contact or location details, images, videos, audio or voice notes, files, profile information, and other content you submit. Share content only with an audience that is allowed to receive it and only when you have the necessary rights and consent.
Chats are not promised to be confidential against their authorised participants. Recipients may save, screenshot, download, forward, quote, or report content. Deleting or disconnecting a chat may update its state in BondOn but cannot recall copies already received and may not remove limited records required for context, reports, audit, safety, or legal compliance.
Links and files can lead to third-party content or malware. Check the source before opening or downloading. Do not rely on BondOn as the only store for important content; message, media, or service availability is not guaranteed permanently.
8. Matrimony profiles and represented people
- Use matrimony only for genuine matrimonial purposes for yourself or a person you are authorised to represent.
- Obtain informed permission before submitting another person's name, mobile number, email, birthday, photos, family, lifestyle, professional, community, contact, or preference information, and keep them informed about publication and material changes.
- Provide truthful and current information, including age, marital status, identity, education, employment, religion, caste, community, family, representative relationship, photos, contact method, and partner preferences. Do not omit a material fact to deceive another user.
- Do not create profiles for minors, use another person's image or contact without permission, reuse a profile for a different person, solicit money, demand dowry, advertise services, or use matrimony contact for harassment, surveillance, fraud, or unrelated sales.
A profile can be saved as a draft, published, hidden, reported, restricted, or removed. Publication makes the permitted profile fields visible within the eligible community context and, if the owner enables public sharing, in the limited link preview described below. Profile filters are discovery tools, not a compatibility or ranking guarantee.
9. Admin-created profiles and claiming
An authorised BondOn admin can create and publish a matrimony profile using information, photos, contact details, adult birthday, community selection, and publication consent supplied for that profile. Until a profile is claimed, the selected self or representative mobile number may be displayed as the direct contact action. The person or representative authorising publication accepts that visibility.
BondOn may link an unclaimed profile to a later Firebase phone account when the verified number, completed account, and community rules match. A person in a different community will not be silently moved to claim a profile. Claiming establishes in-app management access; it does not retrospectively verify every profile statement. If a profile was created without authority or linked incorrectly, do not use it; report it immediately for review.
An unfinished admin reservation normally expires after 24 hours and its staged media is scheduled for cleanup. Retry-safe identifiers may remain in restricted operational or audit records.
10. Photo requests, contact, and Safe Reveal
A profile owner can choose photo-on-request controls. Another eligible member may request contact or photo access, and the resulting request, approval, connection, or direct chat can be recorded. Approval permits that account to view the protected photo within BondOn; it is not a promise that the viewer is trustworthy and cannot prevent copying, screenshots, photography of the screen, or redistribution.
Use caution before sharing a full name, mobile number, address, location, identity document, financial information, private photo, or family detail. Independently verify claims, involve trusted family or advisers where appropriate, and meet only in a safe public setting. Never send money or documents merely because a user or profile appears in BondOn.
11. Public matrimony-profile links
- Only the claimed profile owner may create, pause, resume, or rotate the current BondOn profile link. Do not create or distribute a link unless the profiled person has authorised public sharing.
- Anyone with an enabled link can view its short public preview without a BondOn account. The page asks search engines not to index or archive it, but that is not secrecy or access control.
- Depending on validated BondOn presentation settings, the public preview may show the display name, an approved photo, and selected fields from age, gender, marital status, education, profession, height, and languages. The complete profile remains subject to signed-in community and block checks.
- The share message prepared for you may include more profile details or a note. Review the message and audience before sending. Once a message or preview has been copied, screenshotted, indexed contrary to instructions, cached, or forwarded by a recipient or third-party app, BondOn cannot recall it.
- Pause a link if it should temporarily stop resolving. Rotate it if the token was shared too widely or compromised. Rotation retires the prior BondOn token but does not erase material already seen or saved elsewhere.
Do not scrape, enumerate, guess, republish, aggregate, sell, or use public-link previews to build a database, contact people outside the intended matrimonial purpose, or bypass in-app eligibility and photo controls.
12. Notifications and communications
If permission and settings allow, BondOn may send OTP, account, invitation, access, chat, matrimony, safety, warning, support, maintenance, update, and administrative communications through push, in-app messages, WhatsApp, SMS, compatible legacy email, or another reasonable service channel. Notification previews can expose sender, community, message, or attachment information on your lock screen. Use BondOn and device settings appropriate for your privacy needs.
Do not misuse notification or invitation features for spam, commercial solicitation, repeated unwanted contact, harassment, or manipulation. Delivery is not guaranteed; network, platform, permission, provider, recipient, rate-limit, and configuration state can delay or prevent a message. Standard data, SMS, or telecom charges may apply.
13. Prohibited conduct and content
You must not use BondOn to create, upload, send, display, or promote:
- unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, sexually exploitative, violent, hateful, threatening, stalking, harassing, discriminatory, or deliberately humiliating content or conduct;
- content that exploits or endangers a child, encourages self-harm, facilitates trafficking, depicts non-consensual intimate material, or violates another person's privacy, dignity, publicity, or safety;
- impersonation, fake profiles, forged information, deceptive identity or origin, misleading claims presented as fact, or materially false matrimonial, family, community, employment, education, health, financial, or verification information;
- another person's personal data, private messages, photos, contact details, documents, or confidential material without authority;
- copyright, trademark, trade-secret, database, or other material that infringes someone else's rights;
- dowry demands, romance or matrimonial scams, loan or investment schemes, money laundering, gambling, extortion, bribery, account sale, unauthorised advertising, spam, phishing, or malware;
- content or conduct that threatens India's sovereignty, integrity, security, public order, or friendly relations, incites an offence, obstructs an investigation, or violates applicable law; or
- attempts to scrape or harvest data, enumerate private links, evade rate limits or bans, reverse engineer or probe security controls, submit false reports, manipulate report thresholds, overload the Service, access another account, or interfere with availability.
You must follow any updated community, safety, content, and feature rules displayed in the Service. Prohibited conduct remains prohibited even if another user invited, requested, or encouraged it.
14. Reports, blocks, moderation, and enforcement
Users can report members, messages, and matrimony profiles and can block users. A report may include content, sender or owner details, chat or community context, metadata, and a reason. Repeated reports can automatically limit the visibility of a message or profile while an admin reviews it. Blocking may disconnect direct chat and prevent certain profile-share or notification interactions.
Authorised admins may review reports and relevant records; preserve evidence; warn users; remove, hide, restore, or de-rank content; restrict chat, community, invite, profile, or admin features; revoke invites; reject access; suspend or ban accounts; and report suspected crime or serious safety threats to authorities where lawful and appropriate. We may act without prior notice when necessary to protect users, evidence, the Service, or legal compliance.
Moderation involves judgement and cannot guarantee that every harmful item will be found, that every report is correct, or that action will occur immediately. Do not make knowingly false, retaliatory, or coordinated reports. To dispute an action or raise a grievance, send the account, content, or report details to the contact below. We may require identity or authority verification before disclosing records or changing a decision.
15. Your content and licence to operate the Service
You retain ownership of content you lawfully create, subject to rights held by others. You are solely responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit and share it.
By submitting content, you grant Sanghance a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, cache, reproduce, format, adapt for device or language presentation, transmit, display, generate approved previews from, moderate, secure, back up, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably needed to provide, support, protect, troubleshoot, and improve BondOn, honour your sharing choices, and comply with law. This licence ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except where copies or limited records must remain for recipients, backups, reports, audit, safety, dispute, or legal purposes.
Feedback about BondOn may be used without restriction or payment, provided we do not publicly identify you or disclose personal data contrary to the Privacy Policy.
16. Privacy and data use
The Privacy Policy explains what information BondOn collects, how it is used and shared, public-link and notification visibility, provider processing, retention, security, and your choices. By using a feature that requests information, you direct us to process that information for the stated purpose, subject to applicable law. If required consent is withdrawn, we may stop the related processing or feature.
17. Third-party services, links, and stores
BondOn relies on or links to third parties, including Firebase and Google Cloud, OneSignal, MSG91 or other configured messaging and email providers, Apple, Google Play, telecom networks, browsers, operating systems, and apps selected through your device. Their terms, privacy practices, availability, and technical decisions also apply to their services. BondOn does not control third-party sites, user-created links, recipient devices, or off-platform conversations.
Your licence to the BondOn app is a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose under these Terms and applicable app-store rules. Apple and Google are not responsible for user content, matchmaking, support, or claims merely because the app is distributed through their stores, except to the extent their own terms require.
18. Service changes, configuration, and availability
We may add, update, restrict, pause, or discontinue a feature, supported community, language, route, public-preview field, message template, notification category, platform, or provider. Remote configuration may change approved presentation, safety thresholds, availability, maintenance state, or feature behaviour without an app update. A change will not authorise public disclosure beyond the Service's reviewed data boundaries without an appropriate product and policy update.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, OTP or invitation delivery, notification receipt, profile visibility, successful claiming, message or media retention, link-preview availability, a particular match, or continued support for every device or legacy link. Maintenance, security incidents, law, provider outages, capacity, or product decisions may affect access.
19. Account deletion, suspension, and termination
You may initiate account deletion in the app or use the Delete Account page if you cannot access the app. A deletion request is subject to account verification and review. You may also leave a community or stop using BondOn; those actions are not the same as deleting the account.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account, community, invitation, public link, profile, content, or feature for violation of these Terms; risk to users, law, or platform integrity; suspected fraud; unauthorised access; extended unavailability; or a lawful request. Where appropriate, we may allow a grievance or review.
After deletion or termination, some messages, de-identified community context, recipient copies, reports, blocks, bans, profile-link terminal records, backups, audits, fraud-prevention records, and legal evidence may remain as described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by nature should survive, including ownership, licences for retained copies, disclaimers, liability, dispute, and enforcement provisions, remain effective.
20. BondOn intellectual property
BondOn, Sanghance, the names, marks, logos, software, source and object code, interfaces, designs, copy, generated assets, databases, and related materials are owned by Sanghance or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Except for the limited app licence above, no right is transferred to you.
You may not copy, modify, sell, licence, distribute, scrape, frame, mirror, decompile, reverse engineer, remove notices from, or create a competing service from BondOn materials except where applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction. Do not use our branding to impersonate BondOn, suggest endorsement, or mislead users.
21. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sanghance disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and security. We do not guarantee the identity, background, statements, intentions, conduct, compatibility, family claims, finances, education, profession, community affiliation, photos, documents, or matrimonial suitability of a user or represented person.
You are responsible for independent checks and for deciding what to share, whom to contact, whether to meet, and whether to proceed with a relationship. Moderation, verification status, community membership, invitation, Safe Reveal, claiming, or a public link does not replace reasonable personal safety, legal, family, financial, or background diligence.
22. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sanghance and its officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss; loss of data, goodwill, opportunity, relationship, income, or profit; or harm caused by user conduct, off-platform activity, unauthorised copying, a compromised device or link, provider failure, or reliance on user-submitted information, arising from or related to BondOn.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. The limitations apply only to the extent permitted in your jurisdiction.
23. Responsibility for claims caused by your misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Sanghance harmless from a third-party claim, damage, penalty, or reasonable cost caused by your deliberate or negligent unlawful use of BondOn, content you had no right to submit, unauthorised use of another person's data or photos, fraud, or material breach of these Terms. This does not require you to indemnify Sanghance for its own unlawful conduct and does not limit a non-waivable consumer right.
24. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service, providers, risks, or law change. We will update the date above and may notify you in the app, on the website, or through another reasonable channel for a material change. We may ask you to accept revised Terms before continuing to use some or all of the Service. If you do not agree to the revision, stop using BondOn and request deletion if desired. The version in force when an event occurred may continue to govern that event.
25. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before filing a claim, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum, statutory appeal, or other jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded, courts in Hyderabad, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from the Service or these Terms.
26. General terms
- If a provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue.
- A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. A waiver must be in writing and applies only to the stated instance.
- You may not assign or transfer your account or rights under these Terms without our written permission. We may assign these Terms as part of a lawful reorganisation, financing, sale, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable privacy and consumer law.
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy, Safety Standards, and applicable feature notices are the entire agreement about your use of BondOn and replace earlier user terms on the same subject.
- Headings are for convenience. "Including" means including without limitation. Electronic notices and records may satisfy writing requirements where the law permits.
27. Contact, safety reports, and grievances
For support, legal notices, privacy requests, unauthorised-profile concerns, safety reports, alleged violations, moderation review, or grievance redressal, email support@sanghance.com. Include the relevant account, invite, link, message, profile, or report details, but never send an OTP, password, or unnecessary identity document. For an immediate threat or crime, contact the appropriate local emergency or law-enforcement authority first.
